It has been out since last year and it is so good to see Reflexive finally get it. It has been out for Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Sony PSP, Xbox 360, PC, and cell phones. Games For Windows Magazine rated it a perfect 10 out of 10.
So what is Puzzle Quest? It is a surprisingly in-depth and nuanced match-3 game filled with all sorts of new strategies. the match-3 game is actually just the battle engine in a full RPG (role playing game). You have to think several moves ahead to prevent your opponents from getting the matches they need to defeat you. You can play with brute force or go the magic route and try to collect the mana you need to cast devastating spells.
